Hello

When I was in college I had the amazing opportunity to play both beach and indoor volleyball in the great state of Florida! My love for the game grew every day  I got the chance to play and led me to some of the greatest expereinces of my life. I got the chance to participate in an internship in California called the Fellowship of Christian Athletes volleyball where I had the opportunity to be coached in beach by some of the greatest coaches to be around the game. This is where my love for  beach volleyball intensified and I knew this is how I wanted to spend all of my time. After ending my collegiate career, I decided to pursue a Masters degree from the University of Florida in Sport Management with a focus on Athlete Development. This gave me the chacne to figure out why I wanted to coach and what I valued about coaching. For me coaching is a chance to connect with athletes to push them to their greatest potential both on and off the sand, and EK Beach Academy was born. At EK Beach Academy we value character growth along side developing our beach skills, the grit, desire and passion for the game all lead to a well rounded human and can lead to a great athlete.
